Bugaboo, Ava & Deacon LOVE!!

It's me again!! I did say I had another one for you ;)))

Here is a card made for an engagement, the color theme requested was gold, silver and black;

I used a sketch from Tuesday Morning sketches #160, the first top left hand one.

I also used another great embossing folder and nestability shape. Added some Robyn's nest dew drops and heart brads. I printed the sentiment on vellum paper and the background oval is on shiny silver, almost mirror like, card stock. I think Ava & Deacon are adorable! I think the couple who it's meant for are going to love it, well the girl will anyway ;))

I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
Tuesday Morning Sketches, TMS #160 sketch review
Diva's by Design, anything goes challenge #49
Jackson's Digital Expressions, anything goes #19 strut your stuff (my copic markers are my new favorite way of coloring)

Scrap Pile - VOILA 3 cards

Hello folks,

Today I did something I haven't done in a while...I looked in my scrap pile and made 3 cards!!

Let me tell you it feels amazing to do that because it's pieces of patterned or embossed paper or just plain cardstock that you cut from bigger pieces or just decided not to use on a previous project. I also had some already cut nestability shapes..I know right...and VOILA 3 great cards!!

Here they are:

I love each one but my favorite is the music one because my husband is a musician and a great one at that!!

I used nestability dies, embossing folders, chipboards, ribbon and so much more!!

I really had fun tonight and it`s something that I lost a little a long the way. There is a lot to learn when it comes to crafting and it can be very overwhelming, but I want to have fun and I have to remember to let go of the pressure I put on myself....this was FUN and RELAXING...Woohoo!!

I`m entering the Third card in the following challenges:
Anything Goes Challenge, challenge #74 make your own background (embossed gold paper)
Bearly-Mine Challenges, anything goes
Ribbon Carousel Challenge, #67 embossing, bump it up challenge (the ribbon is behind the nestability)

Thanks for stopping by

It's your day & more Wedding

Hello everyone!!

I had time to craft yesterday, YAY!! It's been a crazy, busy summer!! We either have people over or we're invited somewhere, yesterday was the first time in a long time that we were home and alone. I of course had to get some cleaning done before crafting, otherwise I'd feel guilty, and then made a couple of cards!

Here's my first card:

Here is a close up pf the tag, it says Wedding.

This card is a request. The wedding invitation had these colors, black, white and a touch of purple, so I went with that and a great sketch from Stampin' Royalty, here is the sketch:

I wanted to make a few masculine cards as well, here is one of them:

I used a great sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #48 (unfortunately I'm too late to enter it, OH WELL) and the little bug comes from Digi Web Studio, called angel butterfly. it doesn't look like an angel here because I cut off it's halo..oops!!

I will be entering the first card in the following challenges:
Di's Digis Designs, wedding
Sweet Stampin', wedding ( I stamped the Paisley pattern in purple distressed ink)
Stampin' Royalty, sketch #137, SR#137

And the Butterfly card in the following challenges:
Craft Your Days Away, farewell challenge, anything goes
Joyful stamper, Inspire me Friday's, 71 anything goes
Craft your passion, use 3 of something (the Robyn's dewdrops on left hand side)

Well I;m off to make more cards, hope to have time to come back and post!

Thanks for stopping by

Always & Forever - Wedding

Hello everyone,

Well we can't say we didn't have a great summer so far...they are calling for rain all weekend..the grass sure needs it and it would be nice to get some cleaning and of course crafting done as well so let's get started!!

I need to work on a few wedding card requests for September. I fugured I'd make a set and let the customer choose and the other would be for my stash. I've recently sold 2 of my wedding cards from my stash so I need to replenish!!

Here is card#1:

I used  a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches #47, my go to place for great inspiration!!I took a close up picture to show you the cute couple in the car and the stickles I added to it for some shine. I also used this embossing folder for the first time, of course I had it or a while..LOL!! I think it adds some great texture to the card!!

Whenever I get an engagement or wedding request, I ask them what the brides colors are or what style the invitation was so that I can get some inspiration. This invitation was covered in very shiny cardstock in Navy, Light Blue and Ivory.

Here is a peek at card #2:

Same sketch but just twisted the colors around. I used glimmery gold background paper and embossed the navy with my small dots embossing folder.I also used a different sentiment, this one says "Just Married".

I'm entering card #1 in the following challenges:
Freshly Made Sketches, challenge Sketch #47
Simon says Stamp, Bingo challenge (DieCut/Free/Glitter)
DL.Art Thanklful Thursday - Wedding
Little Miss Muffet, Scallops challenge#41

Thanks for stopping by! I think I will be scrapbooking this weekend so I might pop by to show you a Layout or two!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!
Don't forget to...

I made an easel card using a 5x7 this time, here is the view opened and side view:
